Classical concerts for kids

MiniStrings are acoustic concerts for tiny ears. Bettina and Live from LiveStrings meet the children on their level and invites them to come close to the violin and the cello. MiniStrings is an exclusive experience for the youngest audiences (2-6 years of age) made on the preconditions of children; In this frame kids can be kids!

We tell them about the instruments and we play a mix of short classical pieces and children’s song (where the kids can sing along). The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, but we still wish to give the experience of being at a ‘real’ concert.

We experience an enormous response from the children at our small intimate concerts. For many of the children, this is their first ‘classical’ concert, where they are allowed to come close to the musicians and instruments. It is very obvious to us, that this is a great experience for them - and for us. We enjoy this just as much as our beloved audience!

It is our goal to make the children feel part of a very special moment, where presence, music and joy come together. Our experience in playing for kids makes us certain that the value of creating these spaces is very real and appreciated. We wish to pass on our own joy of music, that we first experienced as small children - the moments that lead us to where we are today, where we can play and live from our music every day.
